PRIVACY POLICY

1. Data Stored on Your Device

The vast majority of your data never leaves your device. We do not have access to your financial data. There is no account system, no cloud sync, and no backend database.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Financial data: transactions, wallets, budgets, categories, subscriptions, loans, recurring income, and EMIs

App preferences: theme, currency, notification settings, biometric lock preferences, and display options

Notification content: when the optional Auto-Detect feature is enabled, banking notification text is parsed locally to extract transaction details. This content is never sent to any server.

2. Data We Collect

We collect limited data only during specific voluntary actions:

3. How We Use Your Data

The data described in Section 2 is sent to a private Discord server operated by Byontriq via Discord webhooks. It is used solely for:

Understanding our user base and improving the App

Responding to feedback and bug reports

Sending newsletters to users who opt in

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

Discord

Receives the limited data described in Section 2 via webhooks.

Privacy Policy

Expo Updates

Checks for over-the-air app updates. Transmits standard HTTP metadata (device type, app version) but no personal data.

Used for push notification delivery infrastructure. No personal or financial data is sent through Firebase.

We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels.

5. Notification Listener Service

The App offers an optional Auto-Detect feature that uses Android's Notification Listener Service to read notifications from banking and payment apps you select.

  • This feature is OFF by default
  • You must explicitly enable it in Settings
  • You must grant Notification Access through Android's system settings
  • Notification content is processed entirely on your device
  • No notification content is ever transmitted to any server
  • You can disable this at any time

6. Biometric Authentication

The App supports optional biometric lock (fingerprint/face). Biometric data is handled entirely by the Android operating system. The App never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data. It only receives a success/failure response from the system.

7. Android Permissions

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

To send subscription and bill reminders you configure. Triggered by your phone's system clock, not a server.

BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE

For the optional Auto-Detect feature. Reads notifications only from banking apps you explicitly select.

8. Data Retention

On-device data

Retained until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.

Discord webhook data

Retained on our private Discord server indefinitely. Contact us to request deletion.

Newsletter emails

Retained until you request removal.

9. Data Deletion

To delete locally stored data, use "Clear All Data" in Settings or uninstall the App.

To request deletion of data sent to our Discord server (onboarding info, feedback, newsletter email), contact us at the email below.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
